Postage, Late Deliveries and Returns

Packaging

Miniatures are sent in rigid cardboard boxes of appropriate size, and including appropriate internal packaging.

UK Postal Service

Within the UK, items are posted via the Royal Mail, First Class ('48'), 'Signed For' delivery service.

There is a flat P&P rate for all UK orders, regardless of size, thus it is more cost effective to order more miniatures at once, than place a series of small orders. The cost we charge for P&P is dictated by the price set by Royal Mail, with just a few pence on top for the box and other materials.

When posting a receipt is collected which provides a tracking number. This number can be used with the RM 'Track and Trace' website to trace where the package has got to in the delivery process.

The delivery person should require a signature upon delivery, confirming someone in your household has received your parcel.

Items are normally posted within 3-4 working days of an order being placed, and delivered within a 10 working day period. Sometimes miniatures may need to be cast to order, and/or painted, which may added to the processing time, especially during busy periods, such as around major national shows.

If you need an order for a specific deadline, e.g. for a present, please let us know via message when placing the order, we shall attempt to meet your deadline, or will contact you if that seems unlikely to be achievable.

If an order hasn't turned up within the expected timespan, please see 'late deliveries' below.

Overseas Delivery Service

Orders to be delivered outside the UK are normally sent via the nearest available equivalent to Royal Mail 'Signed For' service, and should be traceable and/or require a signature on delivery.

There is a (higher) flat rate for packaging and delivery of orders to anywhere outside of the UK. Delivery costs can vary, but are usually around the same price for deliveries anywhere in the: EU, rEurope, US, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, which covers 99%+ of our overseas orders.

Clearly, overseas deliveries can take some time to arrive, although typically not much more than deliveries within the UK, the exception (for some unexplained reason) seems to be the US, which can take up to four weeks, usually less.

If an order hasn't arrived within the 'expected' period, please see 'late deliveries' below.

Late Deliveries

Occasionally an order doesn't arrive with the reasonably expected timespan, there can be a number of reasons for this, including us (especially where extra work is needed, or we are really busy). As mentioned above, if an order is intended for a specific date, please contact us when placing the order, so we can try to assist and discuss any potential issues before they arise.

If a delivery is late, please message, or email us, we can also be called on the contact number, but electronic communications are more convenient and more likely to get a quick response.

We will provide you with a tracking number, which should allow you to check the progress of the delivery on the Royal Mail 'Track and Trace' website.

Should Royal Mail (or the overseas equivalent) lose a package, we shall replace your order ASAP.

Damaged Goods and Returns

We do our best to package the miniatures well, however, if they do arrive in a damaged state, please contact us ASAP, providing photographs of the damage.

If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the miniatures and wish to return them (within a four week/28 day period after delivery), please contact us ASAP, and post them to:

Motley Miniatures, 20 Bradley Rd, Warminster. BA12 8BP. UK

It is recommended you use a 'signed for' service, and if at all possible, the box and packaging they arrived in.
